As a seasoned actor, writer, musician, and stand-up comedian, Paul Reiser continues to add to his list of accomplishments. In addition to co-creating and starring in the critically acclaimed NBC series “Mad About You,” which garnered him Emmy, Golden Globe, American Comedy Award and Screen Actors Guild nominations, his successes also include his most recent book, Familyhood, the long-awaited followup to Babyhood, and Couplehood, his first book, which sold over two million copies and reached the number one spot on the New York Times best seller list. APPLICATIONS DUE MARCH 11 Lucky Penny Productions, in cooperation with Silo’s, presents a musical theater singing competition for youth titled “I’m the Greatest FUTURE Star!” – a tie-in to the company’s May production of the classic musical Funny Girl at the Napa Valley Opera House. The event on March 23 is open to young singers aged 6 to 14 and will offer prizes worth more than $100 to winners in two age groups. “As a kid I would take over the living room and belt out ‘I’m the Greatest Star’ and dream of being on stage,” said Taylor Bartolucci, who will play Fanny Brice in Funny Girl. “So it seems like a great idea to give some young area singers a chance to have some fun and enjoy those same dreams.” The competition is limited to 30 contestants, and the deadline to apply is Monday, March 11.
