Foodies and wine enthusiasts will find lots to ooh and ah about this spring during the Pebble Beach Food and Wine Festival, which takes place April 9-12. Situated along the picturesque Monterey County coastline, the eighth annual event includes cooking demos, wine and beer seminars, lunches, dinners, parties and golf. On the surface, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett couldn’t be more different. With Gaga’s over-the-top attire and mysterious pop persona, the singer is possibly the least predictable musician around today. In contrast, Bennett is best known for performing timeless classics while wearing a tailored suit. So it came as a great surprise to many when the duo released “Cheek to Cheek,” a collaborative album of jazz standards, last year. As it turns out, the seemingly strange bedfellows make a wonderful pair. On May 28, the pair will perform together in Concord. As for their differences?
