The Bay Area Brain Spa is a women-owned business offering wellness

services to help you relax, reset and restore. Co-founders Carleigh Rochon
AND ANGELA
and Angela Martinucci took a chance and opened the spa during the height
of the pandemic when people were most flooded with feelings of stress, fear and uncertainty. With
unique treatments that are high tech and touchless, the business blossomed as it met the needs
of self care and social distance. Neurofeedback is the spa’s signature (and most popular) offering.
This non-invasive and safe training uses relaxing music with audio cues to help the nervous system
regulate itself more effectively. The training results in better managing stress, improved sleep,
focus and more.
Both Carleigh and Angela were neurofeedback providers in the community before joining forces
and experience. Carleigh has a passion for helping kids with attention and anxiety issues - and
anyone struggling with chronic pain. Angela is a cancer survivor with years of success working with
diverse challenges from cancer treatment to professional athletic performance. The Bay Area Brain
Spa quickly outgrew its original location and moved to a larger, airy space with both private and
communal treatment rooms on Solano Avenue in Albany. The spa offers dozens of cutting edge
treatments like lymphatic massage, dry salt and red light therapy.
