concert featuring two masters of American music, Leonard
Bernstein and Aaron Copland. Bernstein’s “Chichester
Psalms” will be performed with a chamber orchestra
and boy soprano, along with Gloria tibi and Sanctus from
“Mass,” a musical theatre work. Also on the program will
be selections from Copland’s “The Tender Land,” an opera
that was inspired by photographs and writings about the
1929 Depression and how people worked together to help
