SEPTEMBER 21: AMERICAN GIRL DOLL COLLECTION
2-3:30pm. Richmond Children have received a wonderful gift. Girl Scout Troop
31765 from Piedmont California selected Richmond Public Library to receive
a circulating collection of 6 American Girl dolls. The dolls will be available for
patrons to borrow, take home and care for one week. Each doll comes with a
suitcase, change of clothes, hairbrush, first book in their series and a specially
made booklet describing life in the Richmond area during the period that the
doll represents. American Girl chapter books will also be available to check –

SEPTEMBER 21: FREE ANIMAL FESTIVAL IN PINOLE
11am-3pm. Fun for the whole family! A FREE community event to celebrate
and learn more about how animals benefit our lives. Come see and learn
about real live animals such as dogs, cats, parrots, pigeons, chickens,
honeybees, and California native bats. Free petting zoo. See live animal shows
at 11:30am (birds of prey) and 1:30pm (reptiles & amphibians). All people
