Object Lessons. Spanning the second floor
of the museum, “Object Lessons: Art & Its
Histories” presents the most significant reinstallation
of the museum’s permanent collection

California History. This exhibit is on permanent
view and includes Native American art
and artifacts from the pre-European contact
period, such as baskets, jewelry, ornaments and

Computer History Museum. One of the
world’s largest collections of computing artifacts
is located in our own backyard. Experience
the computer revolution and its impact
on mankind. Open Wednesday through Sunday,

1910. Through landscapes, portraits and still
lifes, the exhibition highlights the importance
of nature for artists and the public,
both of whom increasingly were affected by

ICA Live! Dec. 7, 7 to 10 p.m. Artists Livien
Yin and Victor Yañez-Lazcano will perform
a series of timed performance pieces inside
the ICA. Guests of the museum will witness
their piece “press/tread,” which aims to challenge
our understanding of performed social
behaviors that we take on in professional, public,
and private settings through the repeated
action of dressing and undressing. San Jose

Circle of Truth. Through March 2019.
NUMU presents the traveling exhibition,
“Circle of Truth,” a unique collaboration of
49 contemporary artists, each sequestered and
