No matter where you are in the Children’s Discovery Museum of San
Jose—even in the director’s office—you can hear the shrieks of delight
from children of all ages. Listen for the footsteps of small paleontologists
searching through rocks for mammoth treasures, the gasps of youngsters
as colorful balls shoot through the air propelled by spouts of water and
shouts of surprise as enormous bubble walls rise like magic from a tray.
