 DOME ZONE
 •
 Set against white oak flooring
 and softly lit pastel
 walls, the dark custom oak
 cabinetry provides a striking
 tonal contrast. An oversized
 Fontana Arte dome light
 above the island highlights
 the subtle gradations of the
 Taj Mahal countertop. The
 cantilevered island’s large
 under-counter storage area
 holds pots, books and utensils.

 FLOATING
 SANCTUARY
 •
An Asian motif from table to island to
 rimming cabinets emphasizes white oak
 beneath black variegated countertop
 surfaces. The design stresses buoyancy,
 order and weightlessness. No unnecessary
 adornments, no flourishes, in a
 window-walled room whose purpose
is to provide a sense of natural beauty,
 grounded serenity and practical efficiency.
