children excel by employing proven, effective
methods in a fun and structured
environment that inspires them to achieve.
The Challenger difference is evident from
the moment you set foot on campus.
Students bubble with enthusiasm as they
make connections between their prior
knowledge and new concepts. In order
to facilitate setting crucial learning patterns,
Challenger accepts students as young
as 2 years, 9 months. In all grades, the
school’s acclaimed, intellectually stimulating
programs establish a foundation of
achievement with clear results. On 2017
national standardized tests, Challenger
K–8 students averaged well above the 90th
percentile. Tour one of 10 Bay Area locations
and see how a Challenger education

Delphi Academy offers a student-centered,
K–8 program that empowers students to
become confident, competent learners
and leaders. A rich academic curriculum
develops critical thinking and problemsolving
skills through independent study,
seminars, hands-on activities, field trips
and practical projects. Each child is placed
according to academic ability and readiness
(rather than age) and has the freedom to
advance rapidly at his or her own pace. At
Delphi, teamwork, leadership, integrity,
culture, empathy and community service
are emphasized. Classes are active and
cheerful, with a low student-teacher ratio
supplemented by two science labs, a tinkering
lab, a greenhouse and garden, two
gymnasiums, a gymnastics room, a rock
