Knotty Lace: Net Filet, Tatting and Mediterranean
Net Laces. Through June 23. Special
occasion linens that date back to the 1800s
are on display in this exhibit that includes a
wide variety of patterns and styles. These special
items were adorned with beautiful lace,
ribbons, embroidery and other features. Open

Thomas Knauer is interested in the social
and cultural implication of making a quilt. For

In this special installation of approximately
45 sculptures, paintings, films, photographs
and works on paper, including objects drawn

key loans, the house is a lens through which
artists explore memory, identity and belonging

of the Triton Museum’s 2017 Statewide
Competition and Exhibition, Sturgill creates

19. Kolb is keenly interested in
the human figure as a vehicle

like dreams of self-revelations.

Anthony Riggs. Through Aug. 19. By integrating
visual elements from different historical
periods and ideological viewpoints, Riggs’
work investigates how aesthetics have been
used as propaganda to control the narrative of
history, borrowing from pop culture, kitsch,
propaganda, ancient mythology, religious iconography
